Good Monday morning my RP Brothers and Sisters!!!
It is mid morning in the Greater Boston Area with a now windy day with rapidly moving white puffy clouds moving south southwest by my office window... and I thought, why not have a great Mid-Morning Music Interlude with a song by Joe COcker and Jennifer Warnes entitled "Up Where We Belong" with a backdrop of soaring jets and the movie scenes from Officer and a Gentleman for sometime back... I loved the song when it came out in 1982 and still love it today... So here is "Up Where We Belong"...
Lyrics
Who knows what tomorrow brings
In a world few hearts survive
All I know is the way I feel
When it's real, I keep it alive
The road is long
There are mountains in our way
But we climb a step every day
Love lift us up where we belong
Where the eagles cry
On a mountain high
Love lift us up where we belong
Far from the world below
Up where the clear winds blow
Some hang on to used to be
Live their lives looking behind
All we have is here and now
All our lives, out there to find
The road is long
There are mountains in our way
But we climb a step every day
Love lift us up where we belong
Where the eagles cry
On a mountain high
Love lift us up where we belong
Far from the world we know
Where the clear winds blow
Time goes by
No time to cry
Life's you and I
Alive today
Love lift us up where we belong
Where the eagles cry
On a mountain high
Love lift us up where we belong
Far from the world we know
Where the clear winds blow
Love lift us up where we belong
Where the eagles cry
On a mountain high
Love lift us up where we belong
