I was not born prejudiced. If prejudice were a genetic trait, it is an absolute certainty that I would have it and so would you. My father was the most prejudiced person I ever knew. He hated everyone who was different by race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, political affiliation, ideology, or even the make of car you drove. And he hated me worst of all. No, I don't hate him or his memory. I loved him for his better qualities and he was my father. But I always felt sorry for him just as I feel sorry for the fools who are servile and fall for racism promoted under the guise of identity politics.
