I had long forgotten this tune which is the theme form the Theme From Midnight Cowboy by John Barry. This mixes images from the Midnight Cowboy movie and the life of John Barry.

Most of John Barry's work is heavily orchestrated and complex. This is what a criminology (of all disciplines) professor I had would define as "elegant", on it's face, simple, but when analyzed, complex (just like the professor's way of breaking down a crime scene.

Very hard movie to watch, LTC Stephen F.! I watched it the one time and that was all. Much of the music was good though, including Harry Nilsson's performance of Everybody's Talkin'.
