He makes a good point about joint bases. I think I agree with the whole "keep 1 chain of command" comment. If there were 2 CoCs, 1 for Ops & 1 for support, can you image the delays and additional games being played?

Hmm... the military machine is a strange beast. It always has been. if you study history, communication delays and internal ego competition has caused more issues than anything.

SSG Pete Fleming right? But I can totally see his point where all it would take is one self-righteous person if there were 2 CoCs. Said person suddenly feels that support CoC is higher than Ops CoC & everything grinds to a halt.
