Our sky has clouded over in the Greater Boston area and it is a bit after 5PM, Eastern Daylight Saving Time, and time for me to vacate my computer, put my slippers on, sit in the living room and sip a glass of Vino!
Thank you all for your votes up and for all the great responses, today and since I started entering my data into RP to get the Ball rolling!!! It is so amazing to be able to converse, albeit via computer, with so many of you awesome Military Retirees and Veterans!!! I think we all try to add positivity to each other's lives and to strive for better things for ourselves...
...and for this evening, I would like to share a short interlude of some beautiful music to complete another day... Many of you, I would imagine, watched the movie "Lincoln" sometime back in 2012... John Williams was the composer for the Music on the Movie's Soundtrack...
Lincoln, in my my myopic view, was a man before his time! He had a vision of what our Country and life should be and visualized/conceptualized how to address the issues of his time on Earth! We all know what happened from historical manuscripts and the written word... This movie re-enacts the time period in infinite detail and the music for this movie is exceptional... So sit back with your slippers on, some crackers and cheese and your favorite beverage and watch this, full screen, sound up and let your mind drift over the historical nuances of that time...
Enjoy!!! Here is John WIlliams - "The People's House"
