Maj Marty Hogan - so what does it mean when he says, "if Obama is reelected, by the time next year i will either be dead or in jail."? What do you think he could do that would lead to him (Nugent) being killed or jailed? In my eyes, and in the eyes of lots of others, he was suggesting he would commit violence toward the president.

Furthermore, after the recent shooting at the Congressional baseball practice, Nugent said that he would change his tone because no one should be suggesting violence towards a politician. Therefore, even he himself has admitted advocating violence towards politicians
