Maybe after the secret service grill him he will learn some manners. Seemed to have done some good for Madonna, she hasn't spouted off lately.

Even hate speech is protected under the first Amendment. I would choose to confront or ignore it. Boycotting his movies and other enterprises would punish the deed. Remember what happened to the Dixie Chicks? Of course it would have to be investigated as a real threat to the President first and dealt with appropriately.

SSG Pete Fleming - Do you remember when the Supreme Court allowed the American Nazi Party to march in Skokie, a predominately Jewish community? They were just stirring the pot. We have to be able to speak freely in the world of ideas or we will all forfeit our right to free speech. I am a firm believer in the 1st Amendment no matter what ideas are expressed.

SGT (Join to see) - There comes a point where that is just something to hide behind. Just because you think you have the right to say something doesn't mean you do. If you are going to take the 1st that way then second says I should be able to drive a fully loaded Sherman tank to the mall, while wearing my full combat load. The third should allow hotels and apartments from renting to military members... and so on... No there are limits. We are a nation of laws and there is a right way and wrong way to behave.
