On July 28, 1900, the hamburger was created by Louis Lassing in Connecticut. Today is National Hamburger Day. My mother used to call me Wimpie because I ate hamburgers so often. All I can say to that is, "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today!" From the article:
