This is the problem with UCMJ. Had this officer been enlisted, he would have been busted to E-1, confined for probably 1 year, and given a bad conduct discharge. A reprimand and $2900 (fine) is a joke for an officer. If the military wants sexual assault and harassment to stop, they need to be harsh and firm with punishments regardless of rank. We don't know all the facts other than the perp's name and rank my friend SSG(P) (Join to see).
1. I suspect that Lt. j.g. Ruben L. Anderson, sexually assaulted women officers.
2. If he had assaulted one or more enlisted women he would have been nailed to the wall, most likely."
3. I also expect that one or more victims did not want to publicly come forward and the prosecution offered the plea deal to get a relatively quick win.

Lt. j.g. Ruben L. Anderson, an aerospace engineering duty officer with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 26, pleaded guilty to the charges as part of a pre-trial agreement.'

And no matter what, he has just kissed his career goodbye. If he doesn't resign "For the Good of the Service", he just won't be promoted and put out that way.

He likely CAN'T resign because he his most likely still under an obliserv agreement based on going from enlisted to officer and only being a JG. (O2 for non-Navy types.)
Now, would anybody contest his 'expedited exit'... no, but I'm not sure how the paperwork would work.
Most likely-- since he was commissioned in '14 and JG is an automatic 2 year promotion, as is LT (assuming you don't get Court Marshalled for sexual harassment and assault), he should be out in short order on 'failure to promote' as he would have already promoted to O3 had he not been a dirtbag.

PVT James Strait - The point of the quote is that when the animals took over the farm, they were told they were all equal. As time went on, the "elite" animals started to become more "equal"/special and they saw themselves as more valuable and entitled than the other animals. Much like the armed forces, at times, may look at enlisted versus officers.
