Black out or not, the EU leaders are going to need to come to terms with their protectionist policies and tariffs on US made goods, cars included. The money line in the story, which the media always misses or conveniently forgets is the offer on the table which is:
"German carmakers sat down Wednesday to discuss the matter with our ambassador, Richard Grenell. There’s already a deal on the table. President Trump offered a zero percent tariff on European cars in exchange for the same rate in return."
A zero percent reciprocal tariff on cars. The Germans currently have tariffs on US cars, we have had little to none. Trump demands fair treatment of US products (reciprocal) and the media in the US calls it a trade war. The EU countries have been tariffing us for decades.
