Katherine Johnson Dies at 101; Mathematician Broke Barriers at NASA

I watched the movie last year. At that time she was101 years old. I started in Greensboro, North Carolina trying to reach the reporter who did a feature article on Mrs. Johnson. I found her residence in Virginia. My efforts were futile to meet her and acquire her autograph for the DVD and the book. I found a 1st Edition signed by the author at Biblio. The level of my self dignity as a Negro Woman soared the 1st time I saw the movie last year. I am watching it on cable movie channels right now. This story is a story for all people, not just Negro people. It stars Kevin Costner and Taraji P. Henson.

She was amazing and an inspiration to everyone but a great role model especially for women and African Americans. Thanks for the share. I am sorry you didn't get to meet her.
