If true, all I have to say is... She had way more clout than Matt Lauer for a long time. Women shouldn't have to put up with this crap, but a women in a position to crush this kind of conduct who doesn't.... Things that make you go "hmmm?"

The only thing she was crushing was his crotch. They had sex multiple times. So much that she joked about it on air. There was even rumor of a threesome between Matt, Anna Curry and Katie. Now...that doesn't make "abuse" right, but when the word threesome comes into play, we're not in the "abuse" arena anymore. At least not in my book...

This is the problem I have with all of this... The actions are horrible and people shouldn't have to put up with it. But, what about all these people that knew it was going on for decades and turned a blind eye to it? They should be strung up as well....

Well to be fair, look at Penn State and its abuse scandal. Yeah, the guy was a predator but he was a financially successful predator and when he put money in their coffers they looked the other way. Entertainment business is the same. And hey - porn is legitimized now so having to put up with a little fondle or two is just part of the process, right?

Absolutely not. If you took a paycheck to be quiet about an incident between you and another; you have entered in to a business decision/agreement that is called payer for services rendered. If you take that pay and keep quiet and allow others to be violated by a freaking piece of shit, you are AS GUILTY as then guy/gal doing the fondling or molesting of any type.

Oh I'm just being tongue in cheek about it. Abuse is abuse. My problem is that none of this is brand new. Marylyn Monroe was the first to spill the beans on "couch casting." So when Winona Ryder/Ashley Judd went into their interviews, it wasn't a new concept. Network, FM, WKRP, etc, "putting out" to get that news anchor job is another oldie thing thats been going on since color TV. So how come it was "news" to Katie? And like I said in an answer to someone else, Katie and Matt had already done-the-deed. To the point of joking about it on air. So I gotta take anything Katie says with a whole lotta grains of salt. And then stir it with my "jilted lover" spoon.
