Thanks Lt Col Charlie Brown , happy to see SOME progress on the new tanker. As a tanker pilot, I'm very disappointed in Boeing. Their offer of the 767 platform has left us with a tanker that is slower, cannot fly as high, or travel as far, or carry as much cargo, as the KC-135R. Their boom failures have duplicated the boom failures in the 1950s when they were designing the KC-135 boom.
