Kellyanne Conway Says Trump's Press Secretary Wasn't Lying — He Just Gave "Alternative Facts"

I think we saw a lot of "alternative facts" for some time. Pick the way of saying something that fits one's agenda. Sometimes I could not even recognize the things that were being exposed.

e.g. Unemployment is too high - so - let's take those who have given up out of the stats and walla unemployment has dropped.

An alternative fact is when a lie is presented as fact knowing that it is a lie . Best guess .

As Capt (Join to see) noted, you can brag that your Administration lowered unemployment and while that may be true, it may be because so many people have given up looking for work or have been out of work so long that they are no longer counted as unemployed. That isn't a big win! You can brag that your Administration has created more jobs, when in fact people who were out of work and prevented from working due to COVID restrictions are simply running out of benefits and having to return to the work force.

The Biden Administration is trying to take credit for solving problems the Democrats caused; moreover, they blamed Trump for not doing enough to stop the spread of COVID, when in fact he took proactive measures (closing ports of entry to people traveling from hotspot countries, and suggesting that we look into the use of hydroxychloroquine) which they fought and ridiculed. In hindsight, the measures the Trump Administration took to combat the spread of COVID were the right ones and the Democrats were the ones who were exacerbating problems by forcing healthy people to wear masks, putting COVID infected patients in Nursing Homes, and trying to mandate vaccination for the entire population (without giving ANY credit for natural immunity), and subjecting healthy people (not in the risk category of dying) to the unpredictable detrimental consequences of mRNA vaccines that were not rigorously tested and whose life-threatening side effects were not fully known. @@
