SFC James Cameron - It isn't offensive to me unless it is being used to infringe upon the rights of me or other religions. If it is being used to enact laws that will restrict rights of others, then it is offensive to me. Not because I somehow hate something I don't think is real or believe in but that it is being used as a weapon or instrument to gain control over others.

I see Christianity at the brunt of a bit of hate and always thought Judaism and Islam never were mentioned for fear of the labels that others will throw out automatically on the derogatory mention of those two faiths.

SFC James Cameron I kept my Atheism to myself most of my military career. I usually keep to myself. If someone asks me I will tell them. I usually get a passive aggressive "bless your heart" or "well I will pray for you" or "but you are such a nice person" and that to me is offensive. I don't ask people their religion and then reply "well you don't have to be delusional you know" and things of that nature. However, I do reply in kind.
