I am glad that the Marine Corps handled it the way they did. Actions like these make me sick. It's like they have lost their humanity.

I concur! They are the Few, The Proud for a Reason and they have little patience for a DirtBall like that Kid.

As my Dear Friend Judith Sanders pointed out. Paris Island is very dark at night. It was done for his own Safety. Wouldn't want the Lad to have an Accident.

Sadly, these young people aren't truly cognizant of their actions or consequences on social media. You post on a public profile that you're joining the Marines and also get caught on camera harassing a protester. Your actions have consequences. He can believe whatever he wants, she can believe whatever she wants...he can attend whatever political rally he wants, she can protest where ever she wants. But, bottom line...when you put on the uniform you represent everyone one and everyone's rights whether you agree with them or not. He has demonstrated that he could not fulfill that duty and so he was let go for demonstrating that he didn't personify the core values shared by the Marines and all military members in uniform. The Marine Corps made the right call.

The Marine Corps hold true to it's values of Honor Courage and Commitment and turning our backs to such an unacceptable candidate for service was the right decision. The recruiting station has done the right thing and I fully support their decision.
