Kirk Gibson's game winning home run 1988 World Series

Great Moments in US Sports: Kirk Gibson's bottom of the 9th, 2 out, 3-2 pitch homerun to win game 1 of the 1988 World Series. I was sitting on the messdeck of the USCGC Planetree in Ketchikan, AK with SN Albie Amescua, a diehard A's and Bash Brothers fan, and just before the pitch I told Albie the only way Eckersly could screw this up is to throw Gibson something he could hit. Which he did. I was happy, Albie wasn't.
