You have a great point about one curfew violations KIA....and the Turks, our ally, gets away with that. The Kurds have been helpful to US interest for many decades.

First off let me say that I have almost 8 years total time in Turkey and I am fluent in Turkish. That being said, I also have a strong dislike of propaganda and half-truths. Now, while the Turks are no "angels"; neither are we if truth be told. Let me point out something that seems to be overlooked in this. Let's assume a very large population of "American citizens" in southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas refuse to accept English as "their" language and demand that schools accommodate the teaching of "their" history and culture over the "traditional" American culture? They might even go so far as having their own FLAG! Have organizations that uphold their cultural separatism? Start calling their region in the SW by a special name? Have para-military organizations that exercise terrorism in support of their cause? I wonder just how WE as a country would look upon THAT? Just think about it a little bit. A little food for thought, as it were. Have a nice day!
