From what I've read, the Kurdistan part of Iraq is very safe you can walk around out weapons. You can get direct flights to there from other major parts of the Middle East and the American passport is very welcome. The Kurds like us and you can tell they want their independence someday.

interesting... they May feel the Canadians will not leave them High and dry Like the Americans did Under BHO...

and if you don't recall George there are 300 Special Forces from Canada basically most of the Canadian Special Operations core RN Northern Iraq right now
