What would your reaction be to this amount of exposure to any religion and not just Islam?
I grew up in a pre-dominantly Catholic neighborhood and never realized the anti-Catholic views of many. As I grew up, I just ignored it as I had been used to it my entire life. Religion has always been a very private thing for me. What are your thoughts on any religion being pushed like this in school.

Public schools should not teach religion, but rather the philosophy behind religion. Then again, even going to a Catholic school, I'm against private school based on religion.

I could care less about what CA does. My information came from a student that actually attended this teaching. Also, due to complaints from the citizens, the curriculum is being modified. My statement stands here in TN.

Yes, the video was about CA, but quickly transformed into public schools, in general. Since that would include me. Unless CA exempted them from CC, the curriculum should be similar.

Isn't it interesting that the kids can't pray or mention God in public - yet indoctrinating them into Islam is seen by educators as a good thing. Where are the rational adults in education?

SFC Bernard Walko, when people chop off heads and burn people alive and set bombs among innocent shoppers in the name of their religion, they are pretty much beyond salvation here on earth. We should kill them and let God work on their salvation, for they will not change on this side of the veil.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff, Islam is the religion with the problem at the moment. The problems the world had with Christianity during the Inquisition and Salem witch trials are things of the past which no longer exist today.
The atheism of Stalin and Mao were no great shakes for the world, either - it is best not to focus on religion entirely in this regard.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff, it is a matter of proportion. Islamic terrorists ARE currently cutting off heads and bombing innocent civilians in the name of Allah. Big difference.
