I'm guessing you will be one of the "resistors" yelling at the sky next week. Good luck with that. What law is alleged to have been broken? Resist!

Do liberals seriously want to take on Lara Trump for advocating for veterans and homeless dogs while she is a senior advisor to the Trump campaign? That's about as stupid as the NFL knee-takers taking a knee during the National Anthem. Newsweek's gone off half-cocked IMV. Plutocracy was Bobby Kennedy as the AG in John Kennedy's administration ... but perhaps that has been forgotten.

Cpl Tou Lee Yang How is this substantially different than FLOTUS Hillary Clinton holding closed door meetings on healthcare insurance during her husband's administration. She was fundraising at the same time; as was FLOTUS Michelle Obama with her school lunch initiative's and also headlining campaign fundraising events.
This is a tempest in a teapot.

CPT (Anonymous) - Why would a First lady be granted an exemption. I ask the question again, how is this this substantially different? Washington DC is a city built upon the acquisition and use of power and or influence. The article alludes to, but does not actually identify any nefarious conduct, particularly where Ms. Trup is advancing veterans interests or animals interests to the detriment of US interests.

CPT (Anonymous) - Where did I assert anything about FLOTUS staff? There is nothing in the article that suggests Lara Trump has a staff.
The gist of the article is that she is violating government ethics as a family member by both campaigning, and holding meetings on causes she has embraced. Is Lara Trump drawing a salary? Is there some requirement that once someone is elected President their family may use their influence with the President, or they may raise funds for the President's campaign war chest, but not both?
