Funny. I have always summed it up as "situational awareness". Growing up in a city, we called it "street smarts". I've run into other examples. During the days when I sailed, I was often asked to family and friends on sailing trips to whale watch. I spotted whales breaching or sky hopping and pointed called for everyone to look, but the animals had disappeared before anyone else saw them. When we got back to the dock, I could sense their disappointment. They thought I was just teasing them, but I had seen them all (or at least the ones I had seen - there may have been others). It's the same with driving. I never watch the road straight ahead more than a few seconds. I'm always checking all around me. I believe there are many clues. It doesn't take a sixth sense to sense a "disturbance in the force". There are always clues. Once you know what you're looking for, they are as visible as flares. A likely place for a booby trap is apparent to anyone who has placed a booby trap. Remember the scene from Saving Private Ryan when the sniper guesses where the sniper might be? That's where he would have been. Ultimately, the vast majority of places where you expect to find one (IED, sniper, or whale) don't pan out. But you find them by checking all the likely places. That's what situational awareness is all about.

I've always been 1st to see.
As you state, situational awareness, shows me many things others never see.

CPT Ahmed Faried - We Americans ( I am not certain what you are) signed up to defend the constitution not say "LOL NO" like some prepubescent teen when presented with something that should be obvious to anyone with a heartbeat. You should reply should be why do you think this. It would be less obvious what you are. If you are not a traitor (which I am not certain) you will find this very informative and enlighten you as to why I think rally point is a dhs front.

So? And? Only dummies post what they would really do should the conspiracy theories are true about DHS/NSA, democrats, yada yada yada. Maybe us really crafty believers post stuff just for misinformation and misdirection?
