There was a movie called "Gloria" that I saw about the same time as this song appeared. The movie was about a gangsters ex girl friend who ended up with a little girl who survived a gang land slaying orchestrated by Gloria's ex lover. Gloria's mommy mode kicked in and she destroyed the gangster life n one brutal shoot out.
