LTC H R McMasters wrote a great book, "Dereliction of Duty re: failures of American leadership in the Vietnam War.

D. Capt Christian D. Orr Inasmuch as he is now a MG in ? Procurement, the book was well received and caused his streak of independence in Iraq to be forgotten.

Thanks SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I remember the names of GEN Westmoreland, Ho Chi Minh of NVA; President Ngo Dinh Diem and Colonel Nguyễn Văn Thiệu who became President after what amounted to a coup. Of course many remember Captain Medina and Lieutenant William Calley and the My Lai Massacre. While the latter were not leaders what they were accused of typified what many felt to be problems in the later stages of the Vietnam War
