SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint someone on another site I was reading on this made the comment about how it is interesting that the last few of these occurrences have happened when exercises of similar nature were planned.

That would be dumb for bad guys to plan these when the MPs are practicing. They might get some surprise, and it might take time to change magazines to live fire....Blank Firing Adapters come off quickly when live fire is around. :)

SSgt GG-15 RET Jim Lint - I think the last one ended up being quite a bit less severe than this one looks to be. Someone, who wasn't paying any attention to all the alerts that it would be going on for the prior week, called in an active shooter when the base was going through an active shooter drill. Sheesh.
