London attacker was British-born, had been investigated for 'extremism'

One of the three people dead in the London attack has been identified as an American man from Utah. Kurt Cochran was killed in the deadly rampage in London, according to a church statement from the relatives. His wife was critically injured and remains hospitalized. The statement said the couple was celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.

"While in college, he became influenced by Tony Salvatore Sylvester, an American convert to Islam at the Masjid in Mobile, Alabama and Hamammi became a Salafi. He served as president of the Muslim Students' Association at the University of South Alabama." He ended up going and joining al-Shabaab in Somalia.
