So we are responsible for their deaths? Nope maybe having a child travel that far from home through the terrain between his country and the US played a part also. Just another way for the free everything crowd to blame the USA for the death of innocents when the parents should be blamed. Hell the trip is dangerous enough for adults. I say some of the folks who are complaining should walk their families from Kansas to south Texas and see how they fair. Hell the police would probably arrest you for child abuse.

Just because they died in our custody doesn't mean we killed them. Many of these kids are malnourished, are already infected with diseases (which by the way puts all Americans at risk) and have been put in this situation by their parents.

While this is a tragedy, we as Americans need to tend to our own backyard before concerning ourselves with our neighbors. This may be a pretty heartless answer; however, every migrant that comes in illegally takes away from the native born population and is moving us closer to a third world nation..
