Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on June 28, 1928 that 26-year-old Louis Armstrong walked into a Chicago recording studio with five fellow jazz instrumentalists and walked out having changed the course of music history. The song called “West End Blues” written by Joe “King” Oliver was leveraged in the recording studio which coincided with radio and phonograph recordings.
