Majority of Americans trust the media more than Trump: poll

I posted this in humor- why? It referenced a "poll" which made me laugh and we all know how deadly accurate the polls are since before the election (sorry they usually advertise 3% +/- so I don't want to upset anyone). The story then proceeded to tell us we trust the media more than Trump (sorry- once again I mis-quoted as it said majority). I had a few weird questions/observations:

1. Who/where the heck is Quinnipiac University?

2. They polled a whopping 1,300 people to represent the 300+million Americans. Great integrity there and no margin of error like within 35-45% on that one.

3. 90% of Americans voters say it is "very important" or "somewhat important" "that the news media hold public officials accountable." Wow- only 90% care they hold official accountable- are the other 10% even Americans?

4. 61% of people disapprove the way Trump talks about the media, while 50% of voters disapprove the media's coverage on Trump. This one makes absolutely no sense to write down unless they were filling out white space- which leads me to believe the author invented OPRs. Personally the media is getting what they deserve on this after not being journalist in the spirit of journalism since Cronkite left.

Sorry if I am the only one that found this oddly funny. To those that think the story is well reported- the big letter on the eye chart is an E. Kidding just kidding.....
