Tyler Barriss will serve 20 years in federal prison for making a fake phone call that led to a fatal shooting by Wichita police in 2017.

I accidentally butt dialed 911 before. Put my cell in my pocket without locking the screen. Thankfully the responding police officer had a sense of humor.

It works to good as I have been dispatched on many calls from cells that thought they saw smoke or someone was passed out in their car that they did not stop to check.
