I'd verify its authenticity, THEN guard it with my life and get a lawyer as previously suggested if it turns out to be the real deal!

Amen to that SGT (Join to see)! I am a collector of autographed memorabilia and I have never thought about selling or parting with any of my items. 98% of my items have been in person autographed.

TSgt Steve Waide - I learned my lesson on collectibles in Vietnam. I took a rifle from a dead sniper, hanging on a rope tied to a tree. When we got back to our AO, I left it with a supply sergeant. We had to go back to the field right away. When I got back from there, the supply sergeant and my sniper rifle was gone back to the land of the round eye. I trusted him and that was a mistake. I should have gotten it tagged by the Provost Marshals office, and stored there. I didn't know that until it was stolen. I was pretty naive, and stupid back then.
