Sorry to have to read of a tragedy like this. Sounds like a very poor decision by the campus police officers. But a caveat, if you carry, please spend the money on a good holster that retains your firearm well. Guns should not fall out of holsters.

Sad news for all involved. Guns and bars are a bad combination. Which is why most police jurisdictions have policies against carrying while under the influence.

I agree. I also agree that when it is after Midnight, if you drop your gun, leave it. Cops have no idea who you are or what you intentions are. If told to do something, then do it. You will live a lot longer that way.
