One of the story lines on the most recent episode of Blue Bloods involved witness intimidation as the direct result of a new law in New York forcing prosecutors to turn over witness lists including contact information, to defense attorneys. And here we thought that was just some ridiculous fantasy dreamed up by some script writer...

Turning it over to defense attorneys is one thing, they obviously shared that list with their client. That is thoughtless and tragic
