I was shocked when I read this and found out he did not work for the U.S. Government. I was guessing the IRS. LOL

Wow! Just Wow! That's an amazing story, I can't believe that when he didn't show up, no one checked to see why. What does that say about the work place environment?

None of this surprises me. After working at a mostly civilian post. Something as simple as an alert roster becomes a major HR and Legal thing. The only silver lining was this story was in Spain.
