Actor Mandy Patinkin (Criminal Minds, Homeland, and Broadway performances) has always been socially involved in events affecting humanity. He left Criminal Minds because the dark nature of violence against women was so overwhelming for him. In an interview he stated that starring in the crime procedural was a career mistake for him, personally. I am still a fan of the show.

I too am a fan of Mandy Patinkin, especially when he sings songs from Tom Lehrer's book (another of my favorites). I'm a fan of his acting but off script he's an idiot. Fear is a very useful thing. It's what keeps us alive. Yes, it can be taken too extreme (paranoia) and used as a weapon by unscrupulous politicians to manipulate the weak of mind (like Patinkin). The claim that President Trump is using fear in this manner is simply not true. There is a crisis on the border. Our sovereignty has been breached, and in no small way. The enemy is inside the wire. Globalists, like Patinkin, are so focused on the Utopia that they seek that they see borders as obstructions to their agenda.

CPT Jack Durish I don't see a particular agenda by sincere globalists. I realize that the new face of terrorist cells look invisibly different and that they cross borders, own businesses in America and travel back to their homelands for whatever reasons. I completely understand.
People like Mandy Patinkin are not idiots. He is a person who journey place him in the world of art and entertainment that places him in the faces of people doing their day jobs, manicured yards and families, philanthropy, humanity, goodness etc. So some people can see through the eyes of optimism and see the glass half full not half empty. So those of us who have been handed the "ugly" because it is what we do, we don't get the cushion of optimism and compassion. It is the ones who don't carry the monsters that give me the optimism to live daily and press forward seeking the better options. I guess when we hunt monsters, fight monsters, protect others from monsters the matter-of- fact-mission is to kill the monster. There lies the proverbial balance between good and evil.

In my opinion, PO3 Phyllis Maynard, Mandy Patinkin overestimates his powers of persuasion with respect to this issue and President Trump.

LTC Stephen C. oh most definitely. But I see someone that represents Hollywood and Broadway stepping into real life with an opinion backed up by actions.
