Marine 1st Sergeant admits to walking on the grass when no one is looking

When I was a young soldier Fort Hood had small signs along the sidewalks that said KEEP OFF GRASS but I assumed that was an anti-drug message (at least subliminally).

How could he? Grass on a Marine base is never to be walked upon! He needs to be beaten severely about the head and shoulders with his own clipboard, and then denied the use of his coffee cup for a year. This really distresses me........

How can he ever hold up his head in the NCO club again??
