AFFIRMATIVE ! Some of us in my
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post told our city people that Veterans in need of housing must be taken care of first.. The Syrian imports did nothing to "earn" their coming into our country. Our Veterans have, whether it be in the Hot sands of Iraq or even here in our own country We owe it to them to look out for them FIRST !.. We told the city if any Veterans that are homeless they can send them to us and we could try and help them through our relief fund. Prob'ly faster than Red Cross and Salvation Army.

Canada like the USA are in the process of bringing in tens of thousands of Syrian refugees. This cost tens of millions of dollars to settle 20k(Canada)/100k(USA)refugees yet we do too little or nothing to help the homeless veterans or help put more money to indigenous (Canadian or American Indians) people and help out our own instead of giving refugees 6-12 months of rent/financial support to these refugees. I empathize for these people but we neglect our own and it is unAmerican!

That is interesting SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. Hopefully Marine veteran Jerry Burton lawsuit on behalf of Denver's homeless will gain traction before winter sets in.
I hope he and the other 8 plaintiffs who joined in the suit will get relief in Federal courts.
