Happy birthday to Mark Nelson Chesnutt (born September 6, 1963) is an American country music singer. Between 1990 and 2002, he had his greatest chart success recording for Universal Music Group Nashville's MCA and Decca branches, with a total of eight albums between those two labels. During this timespan, Chesnutt also charted twenty Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, of which eight reached No. 1. His late 1998-early 1999 cover of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", in addition to topping the country charts, crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100..

Beautiful man and Country singer!!! I was dancing in my Seat! THANK YOU, SERGEANT!!!!!
I always wanted to be a famous singer, SGT John " Mac " McConnell. (As I think you know, Sergeant: I sang on the radio (and played a tape of my singing on the radio). After my first song, (I actually sang on the radio A Cappella!), the DJ Asked me if I had ever considered a career in Show Business!!!! :)
I realize now, that a life of fame, for me, would have meant: constant travelling on busses, taking a psychiatrist and psychotropic medications with me, a virtual lack of privacy, etc., etc.
Today, I treasure my privacy; and would much prefer to travel to photograph, and I don't want to leave my loved ones (On Rally Point, for instance.) behind.
Also, my voice has deepened greatly, from the high voice that it used to be. I can no longer hit very high notes; very well at all. I just parody them.
