Thanks for the post John. No kidding story- my current MDG Commander is nearing retirement. His favorite statement is he joined to become a flight surgeon and be tip of the spear so to speak and he became Col Potter. He states it in jest, but I frame it in the sense that he now commands the next generation and mentors them to continue the fight.
