I had a quick discussion with him, and he said here on this table, fried, with hot and tartar sauce is the ONLY way we'd see this fish in real life. I would personally like a side of hush puppies, but that's just me.

Wow, can you imagine fighting with a fish that size? I caught some 100lb sharks and enjoyed the battle, cannot even imagine something like this. Thanks for posting SSG Warren Swan

Sir before I even think of doing something like this, do you have ANY needless and pointless details like vacuuming the motorpool that needs to be done? Maybe using Brasso on some plastic to get a shine out of it?

We were fishing in Tomales Bay in California, tied into something big. Whatever IT was, was towing my 25 ft boat against the incoming tide toward open ocean. Fought it for about an hour before I caught a glimpse of what it was. Much to my surprise, I had hooked a ray of some sort that had a wing span of well over 10 feet. Suffice it to say, I cut the line and let IT go. A later conversation with a local game warden I learned that this bay had some huge rays, some exceeding 1000 pounds. Ahhh memories.

LTC (Join to see) - I'd rather have relations with her multiple times, than be on that boat, towed by ANYTHING short of another boat TO SHORE. I'd take one for the team, with the lights ON, in the OVAL office, on television. Ain't no freakin WAY I'm gonna be out fishing and I'm the one who gets snagged!
