Mauser K98 - Stock Refinish results

For those of you who like older mil service rifles, some times you need to refinish the stock, I have stripped a few and found stripping and then rewaxing them with Howard Feed-N-Wax, can bring out a nice finish. I am in the process of finishing an old FN Mauser in .30-06. The rifle was sporterized and frankly had the previous owner stripped the oil off the oil finish he would of discover a rifle with a beautiful nice straight grain stock. Very sad to see, but it makes my refinishing the rifle well worth it.
