My worried here and with the next Presidential election more people will be elected off personal demographics because some feel guilty how they have been treated in the past than based off capabilities. Sexual orientation should not keep you from office nor should it be a reason to elect. We as a society have gone from discrimination is bad to voting on people based on what was previously wrong. Electing people based off these things is discrimination against those that are not in that category.
