There are numerous issues that restrict individuals from joining the Armed Services. I think some folks have forgotten that the military is about self-less service. There is too much emphasis on the individual with a medical issue rather than the mission of our Armed Forces to fight and win our Nations Wars. Selfless Service - Put the welfare of the nation, the Army, and your subordinates before your own.

I have a confession to make, I enlisted in the Army in 1965 knowing my nearsightedness would keep me from drafted(at that time the Army would have taken me anyway) but find it funny how maybe some guys did any number of outlandish tricks to get a 4F rating!
