I'd guess something lower level than that. A lot of drag along stuff with those operating systems that would burn battery time and CPU cycles for little benefit in an application like that.

Linux is highly scalable. BSD, I'd assume the same to lesser degree. Windows, however. . .

SGT (Join to see) - It's as scalable as the other two with Windows IoT Core. However, I was thinking more along the lines of WindRiver Vx Works, Google Brillo or Green Hills Integrity.
