Yes I think there are many problems that can be related or traced to mental health With all the gun control talk - 60% mass shootings, 2/3 all fatalities by gun are suicides as well as homelessness. The US has a mental health care problem - not enough doctors and no rooms at the inn. I feel most of this is due to a number of things - no job mean no insurance and its something that is not curable. There needs to mental health care reform.

I agree SPC David S., but in some of the mass murders, the parent knew their kid had mental problems l but left the weapons unsecured. In one of them the kid killed his mother before going on his rampage. Most of these mentally ill people just snap one day about something that pissed them off. I know you know this, but all weapons need to be locked up. The killing in Orlando, should have never happened. He slipped through the system and because the FBI didn't follow through, all of those people were killed. I think that shooter had mental issues about himself being gay. I don't know the real story. Terrorist or crazy or both.

This is a classic case of not considering second and third order effects. Thanks for posting SGT (Join to see)

LTC (Join to see), I have mental health issues but I take meds, am a Christian, and have it under control. I have guns, but would never do anything to anyone unless they were trying to hurt my family. Thanks for the comment.
