Another reason why I cannot stand President Obama anymore and his completely irrelevant State of the Union Address. In December of 2015, he awarded the most recent MOH to Captain Florent Ahmed Groberg. Instead of having Captain Groberg at his State of the Union Address, he has an Empty Chair (to Honor "the victims of Gun Violence,") and the Army Reservist Major (who got recycled twice in two different phases of ranger School, which is unusual) and who was the first of her kind to graduate from Ranger School. As a result of his actions, Groberg sustained the loss of 45 to 50 percent of his left calf muscle with significant nerve damage, a blown eardrum, and a mild traumatic brain injury. "Groberg spent his recovery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center from August 2012 through May 2015. He was medically retired from Company B Warriors, Warrior Transition Battalion, as a captain, on July 23, 2015." So he throws himself on a suicide bomber, spends the better part of year in a hospital, gets medically discharged from the Army with permanent disabilities, and President Obama and Michele would rather invite a reservist who graduated from Ranger School, instead of a Combat Warrior who has sacrificed so much like Captain Groberg? Why? because it fits the narrative that President Obama want to con the American Public into believing . . . that women are 100 % ready to become infantry officers and infantry enlisted, and are the equals of their male counterparts. This sickens me.
That empty chair by the way, will remind me of that empty chair that Clint Eastwood spoke to at the last Republican presidential Convention.
