When my wife and I were married people were still going to jail for inter racial marriage. The Army told me that if I was transferred to certain states I would have to live on post. That is why I would have
gladly stayed over there

And those are what many call "the good old days or the days" when America was great. I even ran into a bit of the same BS in Shreveport in the 80s

If her story proves true, and I've no reason to think it won't, hope she succeeds. No town or city should have an authority-abusing chief of police, much less one that uses racially based epithets.

This is one sided BUT it makes sense. She doesn't sound like someone making anything up and the Police Chief is refusing to make any statements that refute her account. Since this happened in a wall mart parking lot im sure the CCTV footage can be demanded by her lawyer.

Taking what she says at face value, I see some jerk illegally teaching his kid to drive and pissed because other drivers are not giving her 100% of the road. Then calling in his deputies and having them make up a charge after the fact. I hate people that abuse their authority, I hope she wins and then hits him personally with a false imprisonment charge, followed by a slander and takes his money.
