Mistrial Declared for Navy Commander Accused of Rape

Wow! Wasn't expecting that. From what I've read, I thought it would be a "no-brainer."

I can't even fucking believe what I read in that article. I understand the defense attorney just did what they are supposed to do - but holy shit what a blatant victim blaming attack.

It doesn't matter if she was kissing and hugging him at the bar. It doesn't matter what happened before. She clearly said NO and STOP and screamed for him to get off her.

How in the hell can any prosecutor prove someone had the "intent' to rape someone before they do it? There's never going to be proof of intent of a rape before it's committed.

I hope there's another trial and the prosecution can do a better job. I can't believe anyone would think he didn't rape this woman.
