This is exciting for the Pittsburgh area.

Monaca's downtown could be getting a major makeover just as Beaver County gets transformed due to Royal Dutch Shell's planned ethane cracker project.

The project will include altering state Routes 18 and 51 for better safety and economic development, along with building part of a pedestrian and biking trail along the Ohio River.
