This is nice to know but will result in nothing. The Left knows it and that is why we are hearing about a 2006 Trump affair. What we should have learned is the Federal Government routinely violates the Constitution and there is no accountability. Americans can be wiretapped with no evidence and government agencies can conduct operations against Americans with full backing of their political party. It is time to end the FISA program and enforce accountability in our public servants.

This is rich......the lead investigator for the FBI in the Russia matter thinks there might be no "there" there. But Trump is so concerned about the investigation, that he fires Comey and tries to shut the whole thing down......which lead to Mueller being brought in and an expansion of the investigation, to include obstruction of justice. Had Trump just let the thing run it's course when Comey and Strzok were running things.......this would probably have been over already. Because he tried to intimidate and obstruct......it's like he walked out into the quicksand and started thrashing around.......and now he's sinking fast. It's his own doing.....

SSgt Gary Andrews - Trump fired Flynn for lying which is another trait he gets overly PO'd about and got PO'd about on the Apprentice. He always goes ballistic when someone lies to him or an associate of his. I don't think he cares what happens to Flynn but he does feel some empathy because Flynn is a General and has lost a lot financially with his case.

SSgt Gary Andrews - Of course, what would you think if the head of the FBI told you point blank not to worry the investigation had nothing to do with you. Then days and weeks later you hear leaks attributable to the FBI that the investigation was either headed your way or to close associates of yours.........large distraction and continues to be a large distraction for him. Comey was lying to keep himself in the public limelight because he enjoyed it there.

That is NOT why Trump fired him. Comey was incompetent, he lied, and he was responsible for the negative views of the FBI by the American people.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin You could have simply stated that the FBI director (with intent) leaked classified information to a friend whom then passed the information to a friendly media source. Both should be in Leavenworth.
